Subject: Cargo Straps- slick way to wrap up extra????

Cherokee County, Northwest Iowa
In the big scheme of life, this isn't really all that important, but there must be some slick way to deal with the 12' tail of a 30'(or whatever) long cargo strap, after tying down a pallet of seed. No, cutting off 10' isn't an option, yet.**** Just getting tired of winding the tail up and down thru the sides of the trailer, and then tying a knot that hopefully won't come undone. Guys at lumber yard have shown me how they insert the tail end into the rachet to secure the end, but still have the excess strap to deal with. thanks.. bruce.
