| Been contemplating my decision, as you know probably I've been searching for a FWD loader and chore tractor. I've come up empty in my seemingly life long search as I can't find one in good shape with decent hours.
What's better to get around in the spring muck? A FWD tractor or a wheeled skidsteer with the loehring type tracks?
I've rented skidsteers with tracks in the fall to pile manure, and have been impressed but I don't have a heated shop and I don't think it would be good with me in the snow or ice in winter.
If I'm going to spend that much on a tractor with xxxx hours, maybe I'm better off just buying a new skidsteer. I have uses for both, I'd like to have a new tractor for chores, haying etc but a skidsteer for cleaning pens/barn or drilling post holes or any other numerous jobs would be nice.
So what's better in your opinion to get around in the spring muck, mud? | |
