Southern IA | got a quarter mile hedge with a line of real hedge trees, then 30-40' of growth along the hedge in 6-8" trees (hackberry, ash, saplings, etc.) that have grown up over time. What kind of equipment would be used to clean this out. Could a D6 size dozer clean out most of it or would you need an excavator. THere are are few 30" size trees thrown in the outgrowth too. Didn't know if a dozer could clean most that out or if it would take other equipment. How many hours do you think it would take to do a quarter mile, and what kind of cost an hour? Talking with neighbor and we were trying to figure what kind of money we're looking at before wasting contractors time to look at it. | |
