WI | Well I was wondering why the combine went slower than I thought it should. I'm not sure if I know the answer but today while I was going to one of the fields the combine came to a quick hault. The back end came off the ground, the head hit the pavement. Luckly enough I cought it and figured there was something wrong and slowed down. Before it stopped it started making a little noise from the tranny area then poof nothing in high range (3), range 2 seems to work and then kind of want to pop out 1st works all the time with no noise (as of yet). It was a slow 2 miles to get it off the road in 1st gear. Im guessing that something in the gear part of the trans took a crap. Has anyone ever been inside one of those, is it difficult? Has anyone ever had a similar problem as me, if so what happened and how did you fix it. Any info would be great | |
