Nc Ks. | I had to buy a new laptop. Kept my farm books on Quicken program and backed up on flash drives. Can't open flashdrives on new computer I assume because I don't have a Quicken program in it. Got out my Quicken install disk that I bought and used installing it in the old computer but it won't install in the new one. Is it because my new computer has a newer Windows operating system or are those install discs only good for one time. Also I had a guy tell me that it would be better to back up on an external hard drive instead of flash drives. He said then I could view what's on the external hard drive even if the newer computer didn't have Quicken installed. Any information would be appreciated. Don't know much about computers once I get past the on/off switch. | |
