Subject: Mice in draper and more?

NW Iowa
Looking at a used draper head. Several questions; First there is a spot on the upper edge of one draper where the mice have chewed about a 3 inch "half moon". Looks like it may have ran a year that way. What are your thoughts? Will it be inclined to spread or tear from there? Second it is missing the covers on the end of the reels. Looks like they had trouble wrapping and just took them off. Are those covers a help for anything or just a hindrance? Thirdly it has the transport wheels. Are they a good deal? I have a head trailer already that we can modify to hold the head.

Thanks for your replys! The information I gain from you all is always a great benefit! NJ
