Subject: Keeping Solenoid Valves Going 1 More Yr

Manitoba
Not planning on using my pull type sprayer next yr and its worth so little it will be parked in the trees as a last resort backup. But my one solenoid valve is slow to come on. Do the coils just get weak? The other one makes a solid thump when you switch it off and on. If I switch the wires around the one is still weak so its not the voltage or wiring. In the past Ive helped them by cleaning up the plungers. But this ones not that dirty. Can a person buy just the coil? Would really love to toss these as far a way as possible but seeing the cost of new ball valves its just not worth it on this sprayer.
