central illinois | I was wondering how much more efficient those of you who feed cattle in buildings believe it is vs feeding in an open lot? I have an oppurtunity to go in with a neighbor on a building but have always out my own calves fed in an outside lot with concrete and concrete bunks. Will I see a significantly better rate of gain under a roof with a deep pit? I am located in central Illinois so our winter weather is highly variable. | |
