Subject: How much RAM to eliminate spooling up?

I prefer the highest resolution settings on my digital camera, but the computer does not. How much RAM would be required to open 1 - 2 MB+ pictures instantly (upon click), as well as 40 MB+ power point presentations, etc.? Also, I often store 1,000 - 2,000 pics up to 2 MB and up to 30 power points up to 40 MB on my lap top at all times. Are there any laptops on the market capable of opening these sizes of files, instantly, with the volume stored on it? I also want to be able to have up to 4 40MB power points open at once without any slow down.
