Subject: Depth control for field cultivator

Woodham, Ontario
I have a 30ft Kongskilde field cultivator which uses a large nut that is mounted on the master lift cylinder to set the depth. After crushing a cast aluminum stop spacer into it the threads were damaged and I replaced the nut. The new one got damaged on the first use, must have damaged the threads too because it won't turn. I have been using some cylinder stops on it, but they can't deal with the many lift and lower cycles.

Are there steel sylinder stops available? What other options are there? I also have a 2010 JD field cultivator with the single point adjustment which uses a valve. Other option would be to use the touchset. Looking for a cheap option, may trade it for a larger field cultivator in 2 years. Pulling it with a JD 8400. (which is a very easy pull for it.)
