southern MN | My hair cutter got a newer computer. She had someone transfer over her old software to her newer computer. Including Office 2003.
Then she threw away the install disks from her old computer.
The old computer had MS Office 2003 on it. She didn't installt he codes for it, so it will not open - wants the serial number.
The new computer came with Word on it. So she uses Word, no problems. This is not a power user, obviously. :)
The problem is, when people email her an attached Word document, Outlook Express tries to open it with MS Office - which won't open, as it wants its serial numbers.
Is there any way to tell Outlook Express to forget about MS Office, and start using Word to open documents?
I'm not finding that option in the many, many menus. Does Outlook Express set this, or does Word/Office set this default?
