SC Kansas | We had some CRP come out a couple years ago that we don’t do anything with (it went into CRP for a reason!). We were approached by a guy in our area wanting to rent it out. He wants to put permanent fence around it. What sort of long term lease could we draw up? I was thinking so much per year and so much per head? How would it change, if any, if we did break some out and plant annual forages to graze? There’s water there as we dug a well a year ago and fenced 40 acres off for our own small herd. Thanks | |
