North Central Kentucky | As a large part of our business is selling meats direct, we thought it would be fun and good farm publicity to enter a cooking competition sponsored by our local Cattlemen's group at the county fair. My wife put three options on Facebook and let our followers vote which recipe we should make.
Last night we did a trial run at home of the winner--celantro and habanero crusted steak with homemade mustard butter and a Hasselbeck potato on the side. It turned out well, but I think we are going to bring some bacon to crisp up and sprinkle over potatoes for the contest.
