Subject: Feeding wheat screenings to cattle

Kingdom of Callaway - Fulton, Mo 65251
I have a group of weaned 500ish pound steers and heifers that I am planning to sell next spring at green up. I have a couple thousand bushels of wheat screenings that I need to do something with. It is from good wheat and doesn't have any mold or toxin in it. I mixed a batch of feed in a mixer with 2000 pounds of screenings and 2000 pounds of good alfalfa hay. I've been giving them a little shot each day to get them used to getting fed. How many pounds a day would you give them as a supplement to fescue pasture?
