sw ontario | Even with cheap interest if there was no land inflation or deflation would people still invest in it ? Second question as I see some farm investment firms use the "inflated" land values as part of there "earnings" revenue but you don't realize any of those profits (or losses) until you sell . Will these investors bail if land stays flat of deflates a bit? Several farms in our area for sale by guys that bought them and rented them out,they are asking 25% premium over recent sales so either they are testing the land market or just moving money someplace else ......... still pent up demand for farms ar reasonable price but the mentality of buying at any price has subsided | |
