Ontario's middle east | Help me out here with your post below....You have spent the last 3 years postulating here with "all bullish, all the time". You have scoffed at just about any risk management strategy or defensive play that has been posted. We have been submersed in a plethora of explanations, rationalizations and justifications. Now here we are, "the bigger the boom, the bigger the bust" has indeed played out again ....and your best answer is, the govt has to do something??? We need a program for this? It looks to me like a perfect time to let the free markets reign. Let the competition for land get naturally thinned and bring COP back in line with reality. I am afraid you are likely correct though, the American farmer will likely get a coddling program. One that will stretch this cycle into a longer than necessary process..... But what do I know? Feel the Bern and carry on I guess. Free stuff for everybody!
