S.E. Iowa | At least to me it is Went in to FSA find out about new CRP signup . Had them run all the paperwork to see what my options are. Came back saying that ground was rated at $287/acre but this sign up was capped at $242 then they figured the points on my ground. They said it likely didn't have enough point to enroll because it was Highly erodible ground, but didn't contain highly erodible soils. (Say What) No they couldn't quite explain that to me. But here comes my favorite, If I reduce my bid, by 15% to $202/acre I probably would get in. You know I get closer every day to just putting a Farm for rent sign in the front yard | |
