| I'm planning on pouring a new pad to set fence line feed bunks on and was wondering what is the NAT approved direction. I'm located in SE SD so I'll have ice and snow to deal with. I have a shelterbelt on the north side so my options are the east fence line, driveway on the east side cattle stand on the west, or on the south fence line, driveway on south side cattle stand on the north side. I'm leaning to the east fenceline as it fits my farm yard better, and I'm thinking the snow and ice may melt faster. My current set up is a H bunk running east and west, the south side of the bunk melts off nice but the north side is shaded by the bunk and ice tends to build up. Thanks for all replies, Dave. | |
