Subject: Cash prices

With beans under $8.00 cash now and corn about a week away from sub $3.00 when does this blood bath end? I happy for the guys that have water and can say there crop is made but here corn is starting to fire on the lighter ground and beans are shrinking also. Yesterday I saw corn that just fell over and is dead no amount of rain will help that. I do think this crop will have a lot more holes in it before it’s over and we could get a nice surprise in price but right now it’s just getting depressing. I’m sure the national average will be good but by no means a record. This year is going to be a financial train wreck with out rain soon. Between poor prices, no rain and buying year around feed needs for cattle I fear this year will be very devastating to many.
