| After 13 years of putting up with a 1046 Cub Cadet Lawn mower as the mower belt jumped off steady and ruining the belt many times and trying to figure it out and going on you tube etc.
I have finally fixed it as the spring on the back of the deck that tightens the one idle belt tightening pulley was always too long or not short enough, put a spring on it that was 2 " shorter and now it works like a new lawn mower.
It run perfect and the belt issue is the one problem with it and I could not find anyone to fix the problem and read lots on the internet about them having that problem and no real fixes.( never ran right since it was bought new)
So if anyone has one of those mowers and have the same problem and could never get it fixed right try this. | |
