I'm hearing reports of an inch and a half in the past 36 hours here. Its been mostly a good slow, all day rain that will do a lot of good to the cracked and dry soil we had in places. Years ago they talked about a "million dollar rain" but I guess with inflation this one is worth a bit more. Radar shows still more heading up our way so its not over yet. 
I made a start on the first cutting of my yard last evening. Slow going in places due to high growth and eventually it got uncomfortably cold out in the wind with temp in the 50s so I shut down the old John Deere and called it a day.
