| If I Google "background check" lots of ads come up. Seems everyone has a service to sell. But none of them give a professional vibe.
I assume there are big companies that run background checks before hiring someone. Do they need written consent from the potential employee before running a check? If one were to run a background check on an employee already working for you, would that be legal or is it only legal during the hiring process or never?
Are there any services with good reputations?
