Missouri | Today the wife and I looked at parade of homes open houses and model homes in the city, 45 minutes from home, looking for ideas and trying to get idea of room sizes. We've already had architect draw a set of preliminary set of plans we can modify before paying major money for final set, we combined two sets of plans we liked from online. Walked through quite a few homes, measured the kitchen, kitchen table, living room area if we liked it to get an idea of what we'd drawn up. Later in day measured the kitchen table area in one and realtor walked in said you can't measure things, these plans are copyrighted, the builder doesn't want them stolen. I responded we are looking for ideas and already have a set of plans, continued snotty and asked where the plans were from, I said we drafted them. I apologized and said we'd be on our way. Isn't every house a put together plan stolen from ideas from this house and that one? I guess probably end of story is their house their rules. What's your opinion did we much wrong? Thanks | |
