western iowa,by Denison | This pen of calves have been a thorn-always pulling-treating-just about thinkin I'm going to just quit-then I pull another-we tried the Carlson method of grass hay and not vaccinating for 30Days-made it to day 17-going back to shots after 1-2 day wait-vet said to run albion in water,and have been pulling-1-2 a day-probably not enough immunity built up-we are thinking some bvd-and maybe one or two with mycro-if I would have vaccinated I would have a little jump on the problem. We are going to pull ear samples next_ I think the red 22 brockle face is the problem-calves look really good then they don't-We have been pulling about 1-2 per pen on calves everyday-on this pen we are at 8% pulls-or 8 head so far they were here 2-12-usually they are over the hump by this many days
