Subject: Farmall M radiator leaking

Central Nebraska

I've got a late 1940s Farmall M that has been relegated to light box scraper work (gravel and rock around the yard) that had developed what I think is a leak in the radiator.  It generally does not appear to leak when the engine is running but after shutting it down it will leak.  It appears to leak from the tops area of the tank that is on top of the radiator.  I spoke with the radiator shop yesterday and he said that it is probably not worth repairing as the thing is nearly 70 years old already.  I took a picture of where I think its leaking.  You can see the damp spot along the seam.  Is this worth fixing or replacing or just add water to it once in a while (probably only gets 5-8 hours per year).
