Subject: Disk Ripper behind cotton?

Texas Panhandle
Anyone run a disk/ripper/disk or other combination behind cotton? We are on a primarily wheat/cotton rotation, and I am looking for a one-pass plow to chop the stalks a little, break up the hard pan and leave the field smooth enough to sow. Generally we don't have time for multiple tillage passes due to all the labor and most machinery tied up with cotton harvest. I've been looking at the Sunflower, Landoll and Deere models. We've got a 9460R to pull it, so any advice on how many shanks we could pull would help. We would probably rip around 8" deep.
