It will work fine I’m not sure what the dealership saw that it was not going to work for you although it could have been the size of mixer.
You do not want smaller then 400 cu foot as there is not enough room for the bale to get beside the screw it will just bounce around on top. I have seen them actually get tossed back out. That’s dangerous.
