Middlesex County, Ontario | There are a lot of smaller gravity wagons in this area setup with a tarp and auger like the picture below. We use them to tend soybeans to no-till drills. Many have plastic or brush augers. Some run the hydraulics off the tractor pulling the wagon, some run hoses to the back of the drill that they can plug into, and some setup a honda motor and pump (basically a log splitter powerpack).
Could you use something like that in season and justify spending a little bit more on it? With the auger you could even fill a corn spreading stand (if you could get the wagon to it).
Filling buckets from a gravity wagon is not difficult if you spend a little bit of time making it easier for yourself (pics from internet/agtalk).
