Southern Missouri | Daughter in law has a 19 Lincoln Navigator with the 3.5 turbo, she drives very carefully as she should with the kids in tow, been around some of the early model 3.5 and knew they had some issues but before we bought this nav we read they had the fuel injection issues etc lined out , wrong, this thing is turning into a nightmare, I have several friends around that had the 3.5 in their raptors and they don’t drive like my daughter in law so when they had lots of issues even with the newer ones I figured maybe they were a little hard on them , most of the guys here jumped ship and got away from them which is what we’re fixing to do with this babied around navigator, local dealer not much help, they had it a complete month , yes a month, each time we checked on it they told us they thought they had it but didn’t and needed to go deeper, that was back in the winter because it had trouble running and starting, that was the second go around, it’s up there now on the third try , sure gets old in a hurry.Runs better now but is drinking oil,sounds like another month without it but can’t trade it off like this,I’m sure there are folks doing fine with them but man they’re getting a bad name around here.if you google 3.5 v6 Ford turbo issues you’ll be reading the rest of the day.
