As was said, there is a HUGE difference between business and consumer debt. Also, yes, many farmers ARE complete idiots when it come to managing money. Ever hear of a farmer that bought a new piece of equipment "because I needed the tax deduction"?. AKA, "Damn, I made money this year so I HAD to piss a bunch away so I don't pay tax".

Our system must be different.
I can honestly tell you straight out.
I pay the government to run old equipment through taxes.
The more reliable and the more economic sense it makes and I save a dollar. That dollar is taxed.

That makes zero sense but true.
It promotes the system.

We are being robbed through inflation and taxation.

I guess your argument is there are other right offs but the basis is the same.
Your taxed for having cash.

Really really funny part about all this.
How does it skew data.
Show a profit. I’m a idiot?
When I cash out my assets. I’m screwed?

Let’s watch the new tax laws.

Applaud the savors there the back bone.
The rest are playing a game of what if.
Success is in both lines of thinking.
But one is the back bone.

I curious how Buffet does it. Can’t just be trading. Tax strategy be interesting.

Anyway interesting thread.
Tax law change
Whole thread changes.

I understand a profit is a profit but when does a profit become more trouble than it’s worth amd I don’t mean money.
