yea it rains 60 some odd inches a year here. And crops still do better when you irrigate. . The heat I can manage. Plant earlier corn. Water during the day. The bugs I can kill. And the weeds are relentless but I can fight em. The constant raining is pretty annoying tho and can get in the way. But as a radio talk show host who’s a gardener pointed out, “if it didn’t rain this much in Mississippi, it’d just be like west Texas” and being as I was born in Lubbock tx, that really rang true.
