Subject: RE: Kansas rainfall amounts.......

Central Kansas
Here in NC Kansas, Lincoln county it ranged from 1 inch in the north to 6.5 in the middle of the county. There was a localized spot where some of our pasture is that I suspect got between 8-10 inches due to the amount of damage, but I don’t have a gauge there to know for sure. In the picture the culvert only drains about 40 acres of pasture. I don’t know how much rain it takes to do that but it’s a lot! In another place the stream is usually about 3 ft wide and a couple inches deep. Judging by the trash line it was running about 50 yards wide and 14 feet deep.
