Quite different but you need to see the south rim for sure.
The north rim is a drive to get to and only open in the spring through fall. Not as many overlooks.
South rim is where all the pictures you have seen of the Grand Canyon are taken from.
Different times of the day changes the appearance. Mornings and late afternoon is best.
Of all the places I’ve been the Grand Canyon is still my favorite. It’s hard to fathom the immensity.
