I am amazed at the number of acres sprayed with no rain in the forecast. There will be some interesting challenges ahead for SD farmers. A lot of fertilizer on top of ground that hasn't gotten any rain as well.
So what you going to do when all of a sudden a rain cloud pops up and you get a half inch of nice rain? I realize sometimes it doesn't work out but that's kinda like saying, no not going to plant because it might not rain, not going to work if its not out there. |
