That is a very good point. There is no tile in the Delta. Tile needs an outlet and this is flat country. Not all fields are created equal. Some do have better outlets than others and it does make a difference. All of that tile that has been installed in the Midwest has turned the lower Mississippi River into a Floodway. The water gets here much faster than in the past. It’s destroyed our Deer Habitat inside of the Levee. So the Deer have moved outside of the Levee. Hard to grow Soybeans just outside of the Levee.
