I couldn’t agree more, using MapShots to download data direct. The only problem is the data is imported without flow delay and if I understood Ted correctly AMS has not provided the ability within their specifications for MapShots to correct the transport delay. But with MapShot’s ability to interface with Yield Editor this is a non issue.
How the data will be exported and what formats the data will be in are being defined currently. I agree the ascii export would be ideal for an export within Apex, I expressed this very strongly. As users we need to let Stellar Support know our feelings until it happens. The more suggestions the sooner it will happen.
