Sorry, I thought the rye was 3 to 5 feet tall. Yeah, I agree with other posters. Plant, then spray off. I planted into 3 foot tall stuff this spring and sprayed the same day. Seemed to have worked really well. I have a good stand, but wish maybe I would have upped my pop by 1000.. Make sure corn is in 2" or more and go.
