Subject: Planting corn into rye

Central ND
We had a lot of wet ground last spring, much couldn't be planted. Planted rye cover crop on a lot of the acres. Had planned to spray it several weeks ago to kill it prior to planting corn, but due to cold temps and wind it still isn't sprayed. What are our options besides waiting until June 1 to plant corn? Plant green or strip-till? We are very dry, and rye is 3-5" tall. No fertilizer has been applied, but have side-dressed in the past. Planter has in-furrow, no 2x2. All opinions appreciated.
