Subject: Deere Rate Controller 2000 VS Raven RCM

Looking to put a rate controller on a Montag cart and then possibly use it on a sprayer. I am looking at either the Deere rate controller 2000 or the Raven RCM. We have all Deere monitors at the moment.

I realize the Deere rate controller is the same hardware as Raven, as Raven manufactures both. Just wondering if there were any pros & cons to using one over the other, aside from Raven's RCM will work with other monitors than Deere. With it being Raven based, I wonder if Raven would be more quick to offer updates/new features? I know Raven can tie into scales, can Deere also? Also with Raven, in litter they can calibrate on the go using the scale weight. Is that an option on a dry cart?

Prices seem pretty comparable. Raven has various unlocks, but at level two it is pretty well a wash with the Deere which doesn't have any unlocks. Price differences in harnesses? Comparison in product support?
