| The Boom/Speed node is located behind the Viper Pro. Once the node goes offline the Viper will not find it again until power is cycled on the node. this is why you have to restart the machine to get it to come back. You could also unplug the node and plug it back in. If you go to Product Control then click on the miscellaneous box, then hit next, It will show you what version of firmware Boom/Speed node is on. If it is on version 1.5 or 1.6 that is your issue. Update it and the Viper Pro to the newest firmware and that should fix the issue. Keep in mind that the Case IH branded Viper uses a different firmware than the Raven branded Viper.
If updating doesn't fix the issue you more than likely have a problem with the CAN network which can be difficult to diagnose. | |
