Neighbor grew it for years and doesn't anymore. At the most he grew three acres. All I know is that you plant in October harvest in like August. The whole valley smelt like garlic for weeks. Best money came when it was braided and that is a time consuming art. Good Luck, I'd try a small plot like an acre first.
