If I understand how the software works, steering is handed off from line acquisition to steering at 6”.  When this happens you can see the wheels steer right and get on track quickly.  It is painfully slow when going from around 1 foot to 6 inches.

I did do some tuning this afternoon and increased the heading setting.  Will see if that helps.
