Not sure about Mo. , but here in western Pa. we no-tilled ours into wheat stubble late last July and it is just starting to come into bloom now. DO NOT under any circumstances let it go to seed or you will have Crimson Clover for the next 5000 years

If it does go to seed and replants itself it’s actually not extremely terrible, “here”
I say that because in my area it will shut down in the hot summer months. There are a lot of people wanting to try planting corn in the crimson clover WITHOUT using herbicides to kill it.
