Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Good to hear, I was not aware of that. I had a 750 in a MFWD tractor for a time and then participated in a "trade up" program from Ag Leader. Later I bought a used Quad Track 450 on a retirement auction and it included a 750, so once again I have one.
The Quad is used for primary and secondary tillage so the 750 works fine for steering as long as I get reasonably close to the line before engaging. If I'm off quite a bit, the center articulation point tends to overshoot and disengage. I suspect that is common with an articulated tractor. It's not really a problem but just something the operator needs to remember. With my other MFWD tractors, I can engage about anywhere and they will snap right on the line. |
