SESD | Not sure how you are spending that much on repairs for those acres, but sometimes crap happens with equipment. You would be best off with some good pre emission equipment and for 500-1000ac, you don't need alot of it. When you lease, you are for sure locked in to a larger payment per acre, especially for your size. Say a 200hp tractor may cost you 15k and you have nothing. And that is just the tractor. May work for certain operations, but for most, modest used, moderate aged, is much cheaper in the long run. I'm probably not far off your repair total dollars for over 2k acres. | |
