I have a MTX 125 that I use to run a green planter, I believe you will want to run it on remote 1 as that is the priority valve. Until I I realized how the priority valve worked I had headaches when trying to run something constant flow on remote 2 or 3 and another function on remote 1.
You should have a PFC closed center system like a JD tractor from the same era so I don't know why it would be a problem.
