I wasn't the the operator, but he did get out fast and was unharmed, He said he heard a loud pop and skid steer stopped moving so he got out and went to get a fire extinguisher, too late, it went up fast ! I always questioned the plastic fuel lines on the engine, I've replaced a couple over the years. easy to replace, they just snap on. The ones I've replaced the plastic line would have a small split along the line spraying diesel fuel on the engine. But I believe it was a hydraulic hose that popped first.

Good deal. I'm glad no one got hurt. I hope you did take my comment the wrong way. Good luck with the insurance adjuster. Wait for the phrase "operator error". Where do you farm? Not on 42 toward the airport are you?
