I don’t get it. 20” or narrower in the northern states will give you 3-5 bu/ac yield bump and better weed control and drought tolerance. At $15 soybeans...well do the math.

Was 20" beans and corn for 20 years or so. Finally give up on them last year and switched back to 30s for beans and corn and couldn't be happier. Yield is the same, herbicide program is the same, and less maintenance. White mold is a killer in narrow rows.
