Subject: RE: 30 inch beans

So drill my beans, but going to do a school FFA plot hopefully this week, and going to use a 30" planter as turning on the HWY. and going thru the ditch is just too hard and slow with the no-till drill.
What population should I use with 30" rows? Will be no-tilled in cornstalks on a field that does have pattern tile. Good soil, but neglected with fertility. Yielded in the mid 70's 2 years ago. Right now have the planter set at 145K. Is that in the neighborhood for a plot in 30's?
