Tuscola, IL | Got the same thing here in the mail the other day. Wanted to buy back the 2019 Chevy (small suv I can’t even remember the name of now) that was the first vehicle either of us ever bought new. Would like to move up to a bigger suv so we entertained the idea. She’s been working from home since last March so almost no mileage on it. Told the dealer we’d be happy to trade to an Acadia but we want what we owe on the trade, the same 0% for 5 years and that we would pay $XXX difference. Their eagerness to buy the vehicle back faded quickly. I mentioned the flyer they sent in the mail made them seem far more excited to get late model low mileage trade ins. But, ultimately told the salesman we don’t need a different vehicle and we aren’t willing to spend any more than we offered for a ‘want’. | |
